In Memoriam
Members of Priory House in the decade between 1988 and 1998 will be very sad to learn that their Matron, Noël Horsfall, has died. Following her retirement from King’s, Noël moved into Sexey’s Hospital where she enjoyed welcoming visitors to her top-floor flat with views across to Alfred’s Tower. Recently she had become increasingly incapacitated and, after suffering a fall, was taken to Frome Hospital, and then on to a care home near Winchester so that she could be close to one of her nieces. It was there that she died on the morning of Thursday, 3rd September.
