The Old Brutonian Association are sad to announce that Cynthia recently passed away.

LINNEY, Cynthia (Maths Teacher, 70/97) died 28th August 2020 aged 93.  Cynthia came to Bruton in 1969 with her husband, Stewart, who had been appointed Head of History and Cricket coach.  The following year Cynthia began teaching Maths at King’s, and over the following twenty-seven years she established herself as a most formidable and successful teacher, greatly respected by all those in her classes
