OBA News |
Ed Tickner is stepping back from editing the magazine after this year’s edition has been published and would be glad to hear from any OB who might consider taking on this role within the OBA Committee.
Contributions from OBs and news items are numerous and interesting and are normally received initially by Emilie Head, Assistant Secretary to the Association. They are then forwarded to you for editing at your convenience. The edited items are then sent on to our very experienced graphic designer who plans the look of the magazine in conjunction with you. It is worth noting that the graphic designer intends to remain in place for the foreseeable future. Presentation of content is generally completed in May and the designer arranges publication and posting out towards the end of May.
There is no requirement to be close to Bruton, geographically speaking. All communications and consultation can be carried out remotely.
The position is a rewarding one – OBs draw upon a wealth of stimulating memories and anecdotes in their submissions and convey fresh and entertaining insights into life at King’s, past and present.
If you would like to put your name forward and if you have any questions, please write initially to Emilie Head (EEH@kingsbruton.com) and I will get back to you in due course.
