Simon Tyler (L67/72) shares footage of King's from the '70s

"I have some wobbly old cine film footage filmed by my mother which I've had digitised and put on Vimeo"

First, there are shots of Lyon House and King’s School in 1971 and 1972. This includes a very brief shot of David Hindley in summer attire walking towards Blackford at the very end.

Second, not quite so interesting, except for classic car enthusiasts, are these shots that my mother filmed in Summer 1972. I believe the light green Triumph Herald parked on the hill in Patwell Street was her car at the time.

Finally, my mother also filmed some shots at Hazlegrove where I was a boarder from autumn 1962 until I went to Lyon House at King’s in 1968.
