Roger Lowe - Teacher and Old Housemaster dies

It is with very great sadness that we heard of the death last Saturday of Roger Lowe (KSB Staff 1968 to 2005) after a long illness. In his long career at King’s he was Head of Biology, a coach of hockey, rugby and, for many years, coach and master i/c athletics. He was Housemaster of Old House from 1978 to 1993, and on leaving the House he was appointed Head of Science, a post he held until his retirement.

A memorial service for Roger will be held in Wincanton parish church at 12 noon on Saturday, January 27th. All are welcome and there will be a reception in the church after the service. Post code for the church (St Peter and St Paul) is BA9 9AE.

A full obituary will appear in the next issue of The Old Brutonian.
