OBA Drinks - January 2020

The Old Brutonian Association kicked off a new year and new decade with gusto, with one of the best turn outs yet for their annual January drinks
The first social event for the OBA took place on 14th January, 2020 'At The Chapel' in Bruton.  Attended by a record number and many new faces, the event was claimed a huge success by those who attended.

'It's always a surprise how many people come from so far' - one OB commented and indeed, the OB network is definitely spreading out from Bruton!

David Fleming did a rousing speach to all, welcoming the new Assistant Secretary - Emilie Head - into the fold and thanking Gilly and Rose for all their help in making the night such a warm and welcoming occasion.

2020 promises to be another active year for the OBA - a spring supper, the Day of Celebration, more OBA drinks and of course the London Lunch.  More news of all these events will be published in due course.
