As we reach the end of term, we extend a heartfelt welcome to the newest cohort of Old Brutonians. Leaving King's for the last time as students is a momentous transition, and we are here to support you as you take your next steps. Whether you are embarking on university studies, careers, or exciting adventures, know that King's will always be a foundation for your aspirations. We look forward to hearing your stories and celebrating your journeys in the years ahead.

This term also marks the end of an era as we say goodbye to Ian Wilmshurst, who has led King’s with distinction over the past 16 years. His dedication and leadership have shaped the school in countless ways, leaving a lasting impact on all who have passed through its doors. We wish him all the best in his next chapter.

At the same time, we extend a warm King’s Welcome to Matt Radley and his family as they settle into their new home in the heart of the school—both geographically and proverbially. We are excited to see the direction in which his leadership will take King's in the future.

A special thank you goes to Emilie, whose boundless energy keeps the Old Brutonian Association moving forward in fresh and exciting ways. Her tireless commitment ensures the OBA remains strong, and I am hugely grateful for all she does behind the scenes.

Additionally, I want to thank Chris Biddle (P56/58) for producing his second edition of the Old Brutonian Globe Magazine. As information The Globe affix celebrates the onward journeys of Old Brutonians worldwide—because yes, there is life beyond Bruton! We eagerly anticipate hearing more stories and messages from our newest leavers in future editions - I entreat you to send us your news over the coming months and years.

Finally, I extend my sincere appreciation to the OBA Committee—Michael West (O49/55), Rose Vigers (Hon OB), Janey de Borchgrave d’Altena (W95/97), David Jackson (O88/93), David Fleming (B73/76), and Nigel McCrea (O61/66). Ed Tickner (Hon OB), — for your unwavering contributions. Your dedication helps keep our community thriving.

To all Brutonians, past and present—thank you for your continued support. Wishing you all a fantastic summer!

Floreat Brutonia.
