A new Equality and Mental Health Committee is formed

The Equality and Mental Health Committee is a newly formed group of senior pupils who are passionate about the well being of pupils at King’s.

They aim to promote equality, diversity and inclusion, and they strive to ensure all pupils are valued and understood. The group meets regularly to implement active strategies to help promote this vision.

The Committee have delivered training to the 4th Form on gender sensitivity, and have made a film to be shown to staff for their September training on the effect of poor language on people’s mental health. Future events will include Assemblies, further pupil training and recognising national days on inclusion, equality and  diversity.
